Smoothie Sunday: Spiced Nectarine Smoothie
I wish I could say I had some awesome inspiration for this smoothie. But in reality it was inspired by me being told to use these nectarines before they go bad. So I looked up what flavors go well with nectarines. And there you have it, the spiced nectarine smoothie. It may not have impressive origins, but it is tasty!
Spiced Nectarine Smoothie:
- 2 nectarines, pit and skin removed
- 1 5.3 oz container greek yogurt (vanilla or peach flavor)
- 6 ice cubes
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp. ground all spice
- Pinch cayenne pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Honey to taste
Blend the first 3 ingredients in the blender until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until well mixed. Taste, and add any extra honey or salt as needed. Once to your liking, pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
